Arizona
This desert state has many important locations, both for us as modern Americans, and for the tribes who lived on these lands for thousands of years before we were ever here. The red rocks of the desert make for good rock climbing, decent canyoneering and even better photos. As of right now, I only have photos from Antelope canyon, but I do have plans to return to Arizona and take more photos to add to this page.
Antelope Canyon
These photos where taken on a trip to Arizona for my 15th birthday, while there I got to see Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend and the subject of these photos - Antelope Canyon. The canyon is created by flash floods cutting through the sandstone, if your unlucky enough to be caught in one in the canyon, the water can rise 15ft in a matter of seconds. This immense rush of water is what dug the canyons and what keeps them around growing steadily deeper.
